Niki Wilde Broadhead has been studying Horsemanship for over 23 years. After completing the levels in the Parelli Program and riding on Pat’s Savvy Team in 2005, she continued to learn from world renowned horsemen and women such as, Karen Rohlf (www.dressagenaturally.net), Eitan Beth-Halachmy, Lyn Ringrose-Moe, Garn Walker (all partners in Cowboy Dressage) www.cowboydressageworld.com, Jeff Sanders http://californiabridlehorse.com, Dr. Robert Miller http://www.robertmmiller.com, the legendary Jack Brainard www.jackbrainard.com, Craig Johnson (Multiple AQHA World Champion) www.craigjohnsonreining.com and even traveled to Portugal to learn Classical Dressage from Senor Luis Valenca and his talented family www.valencaequestriantours.com. Niki is an Endorsed Cowboy Dressage Clinician and Judge, and continues to travel around the world to teach people and their horses. Niki has been focused on every facet of a horse’s life; handling hundreds of foals and young horses, to starting them under saddle, and working with hundreds more problem horses.
Niki Wilde also owns Show Skinz. Saddle pad covers that can be changed in seconds. www.showskinz.com and is building an online kids horsemanship program that will "Train Future Trainers" in the Kids Korral. www.kidskorral.com
While her study of horses is extensive, it is not her primary objective. She wants to help others to be able to train and enjoy their own horses. Niki didn’t buy her first horse until she was 25. She studied Natural Horsemanship and realized how hard it can be (especially for adults) to try to learn “new” things. She has been laughed at, made fun of, and dismissed by other trainers and professionals. She knows what it is like to have felt frustrated, upset, and defeated. Her intense study and real world practice led them to make a promise she would have a place where anyone, and any horse, could come and feel safe (mentally and physically) to learn. She wants to empower other people to become students of the horse. She wants to help you find the love, peace, and joy in helping your horse overcome the obstacles that could be in the way of building a partnership where anything is possible. She wants you to get the very most out of all of your clinics and lessons by helping you understand why the horse is doing what it’s doing, and how you can help them through it.
She doesn't just teach one sport, she teaches you the foundation for any sport.
She doesn't want you to just learn to ride, she wants your horsemanship lessons to help you become trainers.
Niki, Dylinn Metting (Niki's Protege) and her hard working students teach other kids and adults horsemanship lessons. Prices and schedule varies. Please text Niki 801-829-8360 or email email@example.com for more information.
There will be some fun and exciting clinic held at Wilde Oats this year! Plans include Lyn Ringrose-Moe in June and Jeff Sanders in July and more announcements will be coming!
